I know thatyou are not representative for the whole community
You can resize the Width of the Video, just resize the Window horizontally.* You can't resize the video width (that shouldn't be so hard to change ... it might just look kind of weird).
* The small controler doesn't seem to have action="move" set.
Personnally I prefer the blue version to the orange or greenWhat about green?:

Hmm, it's a pity not using this amazing font, but okay. But the Font is licensed and no freeware so I won't put it into the Skin. I just used the Default VLC Font "FreeSans" for the Skin. Suggest a better, free font and I'll use it.
Being the default skin doesn't mean that people don't have the right to rate it... the more we have feedback from users, the better it is (and even if few people take time to rate a skin or give comments, it will still be more representative than the opinon of five people talking in this forum...). And I'm convinced that it is quite impossible to guess what *most* people want.Comments on Skin is a great idea. But as this skin is supposed to be a default one it would make no difference because it wouldn't listed in the download list.
Yes actually any kind of font supported by libfreetype will workBTW: The Documentation says that the file has to be TrueType, but the Delicious Font is Open Type and it works, too.
No, unless ipkiss wants to have a look at it (I only develop for linux usually)Alpha blending is still not supported, is it?
I don't know..How much time have I left, before you need the complete skin?
I'll have a look at it tonight, it should not be hard to fixWhen switching between Video and Full Mode, the images and buttons that change their state of visibility dont dissapear, only disappearing when the window is resized.
indeed you cannot use more than one vout control at the same time; if they are in different layouts it should work but I have to write a small fix for that...the problem with 2 video controls, that only one is used
OK... in fact it is hard to fix What you are trying to do is a dynamic window shape and it is not supposed to work... It only works when you resize the window because it implies a computation of the window shape, but as this "onlyvideo.isVisible" thing was just a quick hack I don't feel like fixing that now...I'll have a look at it tonight, it should not be hard to fixWhen switching between Video and Full Mode, the images and buttons that change their state of visibility dont dissapear, only disappearing when the window is resized.
