Relative distance between two or more videos in a mosaic

Hello, I would like set up the relative distance between two or more videos in a mosaic. Can I do this using the id-offset of mosaic bridge-in? I don't understand well the purpose of the id-offset of mosaic bridge-in, somebody can help me?

You can select the horrizontal and vertical broders with --mosaic-vboder and --mosaic-hborder.
