Swedish VLC.. But I chose English!

My locale is set to Sweden. When I installed vlc and chose "English", I expected it to be in English.
But it's in Swedish. And I can't find any menu choice for changing it.

BUG! ?

VLC 0.8.4: Settings - Preferences - Interface - General - choose your language
VLC 0.8.5: Settings - Preferences - Interface - choose your language

The installer only asks for the language to use during the installation process, not VLC :)
