Unicast memory leak problem

Postby ayal » 04 Apr 2006 10:13

Hi there,
I use VLC to stream video to either Amino's or PC's and when I do this with the multicast option, it seems to work OK though when sending high BW streams ( HD for instance) the VLC simply crashes.
The more worrying problem I have is that when sending Unicast streams, VLC starts using up memory it then starts the churn the hard drive using a page file and finally shuts down. I am using 0.8.4a , does any one have a solution to this. :?

Hello,
you can download nightlies yourself:
e.g. today (5.4.2006)
http://nightlies.videolan.org/build/win ... -win32.exe
and other pagkages from http://nightlies.videolan.org/

If problem still exist in updated version, then report it here.
