Stop VLC from streaming videos on sites?

Postby NickJames » 17 Mar 2006 09:13

After recently installing VLC, I noticed it's replaced my normal streaming software which is Windows Media Player in my web browsers, to this older version of WMP which dosent allow Fast Forwarding or anything. I was wondering if it's possible to remove this? I can't stand having to use this older version to stream videos. I even tried uninstalling but it's still there.

try removing npvlc.dll from your firefox plugins folder
No such file exists, C:Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\plugins right? Or the one in application data?
