media change popup

Current setup:
VLC: 3.0.21
OS: Zorin OS 17.2 Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 x 12
Video: Nvidia GeForce GT 1030
Ram: 40 GiB

VLC runs fine but I can't make it stop giving me the media change popup. I changed the setting to "never", but it still pops up every time. Very annoying.

Menu Tools -> Preferences (Show settings = All) -> Interface -> Main interfaces -> Qt -> Show notification popup on track change
Turn if off, click on the Save button then you must exit and restart VLC.
