Postby arsisthesis » 13 Nov 2024 09:40

Hi,

My vlc can no more start after my MacOS been updated to Sequoia Beta 15.2.
When I click on vlc application icon, nothing happends. No even a crash message.
I just updated my OS to Sequoia Beta 15.2 (24C5076e), but the problerm remains.

Best wishes!

Hi all, my problem was resolved by followting the troubleshooting guides on: https://wiki.videolan.org/VSG:Startup:Mac/
Starting VLC in the MAC OS X Desktop
Please check that you are using the latest release of VLC.

If so, run the "Remove Preferences" script provided on VLC's disk-image or delete both a folder called "VLC" and a file called org.videolan.vlc.plist in ~/Library/Preferences (your personal preferences folder).
