Bug: When tap on a M3U Playlist and "open with VLC", custom titles are shown correctly, but not when tap on Playlists

Hi,

I'm maintaining a Playlist Webradio.m3u with a Text Editor and share this across devices.

I gave every channel a custom title to avoid such entries like the following, where I don't know what is what:

• website
• stream.mp3
• digital.mp3
• listen.m3u

Steps to reproduce the issue, VLC Version 3.5.7:

1. Create a Text file Webradio.m3u with all my channels
   either directly on the Mobile Device/Smartphone using any favorite file explorer App
   which has a Text Editor or transfer it e.g. using a USB cable.
2. Use any favorite file explorer App and browse for the Webradio.m3u, e.g. Samsung My Files (German: Eigene Dateien)
3. If no default app has been configured tap on Webradio.m3u, instead do a long tap and select "Open with" and select "VLC"
4. VLC starts unexpected in background instead of foreground and plays the first entry
5. Either show the notifications and click on the VLC notification
   or on the Home screen or app list start the App "VLC" to show it in foreground
6. Click on the current played item
7. Result:We can see that VLC is generally able to display the titles initially correctly.
   I know that when they are played the first time, the title will change.

8. Navigate back
9. Tap on the fourth Tab "Playlists"

11. Tap on Note button to display the Playlist

This is not necessary, you can copy & paste from code. Line breaks are Windows CR LF. I added a safety blank line on the EOF.

Sorry, I misread you code yesterday.

I am not able to reproduce this issue with the current beta so I guess it has been fixed in the meantime.
If you want to try it, you can either:
- Join the beta program (but you will have to uninstall the app and lose your data if you want to leave it before the release). You can click here to do it: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.videolan.vlc

Do I need to change the setting to install apps from unknown sources?

How can I create an Backup of VLC settings? Do I need a 3rd Party App?
