Continuous random play of folder content

I need to be able to continously play a special playlist/folder of short mp4 videos, in random order. I really like VLC, but it doesn't seem to have this basic feature. Yes, I can play a playlist in random order, but once it has played each video, it stops, and I have to press the shuffle button to restart.

Is there a way around this?

In the video player, tap the 3-dots button at the bottom right corner. Then Tap the "repeat" option.

Thanks Aza. Tried that, but all that does is to play the first video in the playlist repeatedly, rather than a continuous random shuffle play of the entire folder/playlist.

You should tap 2 times. There are 3 modes: repeat none, repeat one and repeat all. If you're using the beta (until 3) there is an issue preventing the icon to be properly colored. It will be fixed in beta 4.
