Request: Option to disable trackpad gestures

Postby mcandre » 20 Oct 2024 21:17

My cat often darts across my laptop, triggering random VLC functions.

Please provide an option to disable VLC touchpad gestures.

Go to Preferences -> Show All -> Interface -> Hotkeys and disable the mouse wheel options.

Hmm, I did find some mouse wheel hotkeys there.

I tried pressing the delete key and quickly confirmed the prompt without reading it. Yuck, instead of disabling Mouse Up, it reset my entire VLC configuration.

I would have expected Clear to perform reset behavior across ALL hotkeys. Weird, that button seems to be the one to disable highlighted hotkeys.

Not sure which buttons you pressed there. The idea was to select "ignore" for each of the both mouse wheel options.
