I want to install VLC Player offline, download it first and then install it,
so you can also make a backup copy. Why is there no VLC player for Ubuntu 24.4.1 yet???
No installation files to download for Linux???

Stating the obvious but VLC is provided in Ubuntu universe repositories, including for LTS 24.04.
