Request for iOS: Allow Adding a Song via "Play Next" in Shuffle

I'm using VLC for iOS version 3.6.4 (670). My device is an iPhone 15.

Current situation:

When I have all my songs on shuffle, if I try to queue a song to play next using the "Play next in queue" option, it doesn't actually play that song next. (I'm assuming maybe it's adding the song to the very end of all the other songs that are already in line for shuffling?)

The solution I would like:

Even when songs are on shuffle, when I add a song using "Play next in queue," it will play that next while retaining the shuffle state for the rest of the songs after that.
