VLC tvOS - "Connect to Server' Nothing happens

Hello,

I have Apple TV 4K with VLC for tvOS v 3.6.0 (644). There is an SMB server on my network with videos, that I'd like to connect to and play the videos.

When I go to Local Network tab I have Connect to Server or Favorites. When I select Connect to Server, nothing happens at all, it just sits there. It's like it's just a dummy/placeholder menu item with no action taking place.

I tried going into Settings and resetting all the settings / uninstalling / reinstalling app, still not working.

Is there anything I need to do to make something happen so I may make use of this app?

Yep, that is exactly right. I do not get any kind of response from selecting the Connect to Server button. No login credential prompt, no server address prompt, zero zilch nada.

Hi, I just wanted to follow up - is this behavior (or the lack thereof) a bug in 3.6 ? Let me know if I can help in any way to solve this!

I recently got a description how to reproduce. A fix is coming!

Any update on this matter? I have the same problem and the ONLY way for me to get it work, is to restart my ATV and select Connect to Server, but this is a ONE TIME PONY TRICK. Meaning that if I leave VLC or go to any other settings within VLC, I will have restart my ATV to be able to access Connect to Server.
