Bookmarks for the flatpacks version of VLC

Hi,I had issues on Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon with the version in the software centre (it wouldn't open despite trying multiple different ways).

The version I have now (flatpack) deletes bookmarks when I restart the computer.

The Android version also deletes bookmarks. This is an needed feature for me as I listen to multiple audiobooks at one time.
How can I set bookmarks so they don't get deleted after I shut down the computer?

(I prefer to use the GUI as I'm pretty terrible at doing anything from the terminal)

VLC doesn't support persistent bookmarks as of yet.
