VLC keeps switching to HDR on mouse move

Simple but so annoying:

1. switch Windows to HDR -> Win + Alt + B
2. play an HDR movie, go full screen
3. VLC switches to HDR for no reason
4. move the mouse
5. VLC switches to HDR again for no reason
6. don't touch the mouse
7. goto step 3

Basically, you cannot do anything anymore with the mouse as VLC keeps switching to HDR for no reason.

In very rare cases, it picks it up right from the start and it doesn't do that. Couldn't figure out why, though.

Of course, if one exits full screen this doesn't happen.

Can you update to latest VLC version (v3.0.21 as of today) and check if the same behaviour happens ?
If it doesn't help then reset the preferences and cache (the manual way) and try again:

Now, only if I explicitly switched desktop to HDR before, VLC will play HDR and stop switching HDR.

That's okay, I was already switching desktop to HDR only when watching an HDR movie.
