Forward skip, Backward skip

I use VLC with CarPlay a lot and with my headphones. I also listen to a lot of spoken word audio. Could you add an option to link the forward and back buttons to the forward skip and backward skip intervals?

So when the buttons are pressed, instead of going to the next track in a playlist, they move the track forward or back according to the intervals selected in the settings.
