Dont change window-size by opening new video?

Postby Memfis » 08 Jun 2024 20:10

If I open a new video file to watch it, than VLC use the video size of the video and make the window bigger.
I want, that VLC don't change the window-size, if I open a new video. How to to that and use this option by default?

Menu Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: All -> Video
Then at the bottom of the right panel check and set the video width and height of the Window Properties options.
Once done you must save, exit and restart VLC for the changes to be applied.

Had trouble with this. Multiple instances of VLC via playlist. Will try again after setting all of the 1 instance parameters that jumped out at me.
