VLC shows the video after 4 seconds

Postby trivettegiacomo » 14 Jun 2024 13:28

Hi, i'm triyng to play a videos playlist from command line using this command:

Code: Select all

cvlc -f --no-video-title-show /home/admin/playlist.xspf
But the first video is shown after 4 seconds and i don't see the first part.
Can you please help me to solve that?

Thanks.
Giacomo

If you're using NVIDIA drivers, that's a known issue with starting up their user-space drivers.

It depends why VLC is waiting 4 seconds.

I'm not sure what you're hoping for there. Sure they must be debug or tracing tools to see what is taking time in a programme. There's nothing really specific to VLC there though, and so you might not get much useful help in this forum.
