Album images not transferring to iPhone X

Hello, I've added album images to the album directory and the songs, however transferring onto the iphone, only the audio and text comes across?
I added images from Linux File Manager and VLC.
My 3rd method via code has an error: Output file # 0 does not contain any stream

Tested saving image on VLC on Linux Mint 21.3 and Raspberry Pi 5 and images .jpg don't stay on music file after saving Metadata. Saving Metadata makes added text save onto the file.

Tested saving image.png on Desktop Linux Mint 21.3 -> VLC 3.0.20 Vetinari -> Tools -> Media Information -> right click VLC image (near bottom right) -> selected Add cover art from file -> image.png -> Save Metadata -> Close.

Selected Add cover art from file -> Close.
Also tried Add cover art from file -> Save Metadata -> Close.
Doesn't save?
