Having Issues when playing CDs with VLC Player

Postby Pallas_L » 17 Apr 2024 19:47

Hi,
I played a genuine CD or a burned CD using VLC Player, it played for a while then it stopped, how can I resolve this issue? There's no error messages & I'm using Windows 11.

Pls help, thanks.

Waiting for your reply asap, thank you in advance.

Cool Regards,
Pallas

First, reboot your computer, then reset the preferences and cache (the manual way) and try again:

Hi Lotesdelere,

I made a mistake, I plugged in my new USB 3.0 Blu-Ray Disc Writer into an USB 2.0 port, that's why my VLC player is not working properly but after I plugged it into a USB 3.2 port, it's working properly now.

So Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Case Closed.

Have a wondrous week ahead.

Cool Regards,
Pallas
