Keep audio track synchronization setting

For questions and discussion that is NOT (I repeat NOT) specific to a certain Operating System.

Keep audio track synchronization setting

Postby KDAM71 » 30 Mar 2024 01:52

I play videos using VLC 3.0.20 Vetinari from my harddisk (on windows 11).
For most of the videos I have to set the audio track synchronization to -0,3 s.
When a new video starts the synchronization is reset to 0.
Is there a way to make -0,3 standard?

Kind regards, Klaas

Menu Tools -> Preferences -> Show settings: ALL -> Audio
Then in the right panel you can set the Audio Desynchronization Compensation in ms.
Save the preferences, then exit and restart VLC for the change to take effect.
