I installed vlc 3.0.5 from apk that I have on Android 11. However, it auto updates to a different version. I don't want a different version. I want the version that I installed, 3.0.5. The reason I don't want an updated version is that I can easily x out vlc when I am finished using version 3.05. See

There is an x and when tapping the x, vlc disappears from the notification panel. The updated version of vlc has no x, (just pause, forward, next etc) and so the vlc software just remains on the notification panel which bothers me. The only way to eliminate the notification on the updated vlc is to force stop the software which takes a lot of taps on the screen. Alternatively, is there an app that can be set to force stop vlc with one tap?
