tvOS 3.5.2 Two bugs with new favorites / bookmark feature

Hi guys,

it seems that there are two bugs within the new "favorites for network shares" feature:

1. Favorites are not safed premanently. There are gone when you close vlc completely (kill from the taskswitcher).

2. I cant play files when i open the network share (SMB, with username + password) from the favorites menu. If i login to my network share manually from the start screen of vlc, all files are played correctly.

Are these bugs already known?

The first issue should be solved in version 3.5.4 released this week. For the 2nd, I didn't find time to test that yet.

Version 3.5.4 is on my ATV and i checked the issues. Both bugs are still existing

Just for info:

The "favorites lost after killing app" bug isnt present on iOS.
But im also not able to open my smb share instant via favorites. A popup is shown for the login credentials. I believe username and password are not saved in the background for the favorites.

Hi Felix, i checked the new VLC version.

It seems that the second bug is fixed. If i open my smb share via favorites i can play media. Thanks!

But the first bug is still there. If i add my network share to favorites and close VLC (kill from task switcher) the saved folder is gone ...
