VLM Scheduling/Broadcast not working

Hi all, I'm new to VLC and am trying to use it to set up a monitor for 24 hour playout. I'm trying to set up a bulletin board that runs 24/7, and a few videos that cut into it and play at certain times during the day. I've tried using VLM to set up a broadcast and scheduled playback, and I can get the broadcast to start but the video freezes. I also can't get the scheduler to actually play the videos at the designated times. Does anyone have a tutorial or tips for getting it running?
