Applying video effects from "Essential" permanently?

Postby dustyceiling » 24 Feb 2024 20:19

Hello All.
Have some darker footage that I wanted to brighten using the stock VLC essential effects. Comes out nicer than anything else I've tried.
Any way to apply these effects permanently? Have tried the convert/save option but I may be doing it wrong as it never applies the effects.
Are these just for viewing maybe? Any alternatives to give a similar result?
Any help appreciated :)

Hello,
after adding your desired effects and filters, select the video transformation filter as described in:

I hope that I was of some small help.
