How to deal with duplicate files to insert them into different groups of media?

Hello,

I have a lot of music files and I would like to assign some files to multiples categories.

For example I have 2 folders on my Mac, each folder is a category:
- Dance & Go
- Pop USA

And in theses folders I have the file "Miley Cyrus - Flowers (Official Video) [G7KNmW9a75Y].webm"

The way I share all my video songs is with my VLC iPhone App:
I upload all the files from a folder on my Mac to the iPhone app. Then, I select all the newly uploaded videos and create a new media group to put them in.

But when a file is duplicated in 2 folders on my Mac, I can't put it twice on the VLC iPhone app?

How to deal with it?

My purpose is just to easily create categories on my Mac and duplicate them on my VLC iPhone app. I have hundreds of video songs which are updated quite often.
