but VLC cannot read CD in this format, it can read MP3,
what is the matter ? may be I have another application Power Media Player ?
How can I made read the music and register it ?
Thank you very much !

Playing WMA2 works for me with VLC 3.0.20.

Code: Select all

Format : WMA Format version : Version 2 Codec ID : 161 Description of the codec : Windows Media Audio 9 - 96 kbps, 44 kHz, stereo 1-pass CBR Bit rate mode : Constant Bit rate : 96.0 kb/s Channel(s) : 2 channels Sampling rate : 44.1 kHz Bit depth : 16 bits

What is your OS ?
What is your VLC version ?

Please open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2) before you start the playback, and then paste the full resulting log here or on Pastebin.com or on Justpaste.it if it's too long.

Also upload a short sample of your original problematic file to WeTransfer.com or Disroot.org and then post the link to the file here.
