vlc via task scheduler can't get the GUI to show

Postby cyanna » 18 Jul 2019 10:52

I can create a simple bat file "C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --fullscreen and this will launch VLC with a GUI. But when I try to launch the bat file via task scheduler, or just vlc.exe or vlc.exe --fullscreen, VLC starts as i can see it in task manager, but there is no GUI.
OS is Windows 7 64 bit EN-US
any ideas?

NVM, DOH moment. The task was set to run "whether user is logged in or not", changed that tu "user logged in" and problem solved
