Batch Edit Metadata

I am an average home user and a senior. I want to learn how to batch-edit video file metadata and save all revisions to a specified target file. I found the way to edit a file but the changes are not saved. Could someone kindly walk me through this process, please?

For mass tagging the best is to use a dedicated tool like Mp3tag.

Thanks for your reply, Lotesdelere. I have Mp3tag and am trying to set it up to handle video files now.
