SMB Connection Delay via DNS After iOS 17 Update

Before the latest iOS 17 update (previously was on the latest iOS 16) I was able to connect to my local computer on my home network via SMB using the DNS name of my computer without any problem, but now there is a 5 second delay when connecting and also on every file or folder I access. If I connect via the IP Address there is no delay. Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating to iOS 17 on their iPhone? I already tried uninstalling the app, restarted the iPhone, and re-installed, but still have the same issue. I haven't reset my network settings, since I don't want to re-enter the password for all the wifi hotspots I've connected to in the past. I installed and tested with PlayerXtreme Video Player and didn't have the same delay when browsing my local computer via SMB.

I’m having a similar issue with SMB shares on tvOS. I go to connect to the share and it doesn’t do anything. This was as if the latest tvOS update.
