Building from source: libvk_plugin_la-display.lo Error 1

Hi there!

I tried to find information by myself but it seems nobody posted about this specific issue.
I'm attempting to build VLC from source on Ubuntu LTS 22.04, using clang 17

However, i face an issue:

make[4]: *** [Makefile:27572: video_output/vulkan/libvk_plugin_la-display.lo] Error 1 make[4]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

Then the compilation fails.

Any help?

You'd have to check the actual error. Presumably your VK version is too old.
