Problem with VLC and ASS subs

Postby bybpow » 02 Nov 2023 01:23

Hi,

I was reorganizing my anime media collection to move it to a new location. Doing some quick checks I saw that the player is displaying the subs wrongly. I know these subtitles are okay because I know they worked. Furthermore, other players display them correctly. These ASS files have a set PlayResX and PlayResY but as I said, they were working before in VLC and even now in other players. Here is a sample:

Can you help me? Thanks.

VLC 3.0.20

The last version without this type of problem of stretching the standard ASS fonts was 3.0.18, 3.0.19 is buggy like the recent 3.0.20 olso.
