VLC dependencies

When I look at dependancies for VLC there is a difference between the 2 even though they are both based on Debian. What are the expect dependencies and recent version for Debian as of Oct-2023 ?

Debian 12 has a version that is 0.0.0-2 higher the mxlinux

The VLC version is the same 3.0.18. The difference is in distro packaging, so for details, you have the wrong venue.

Why are the dependencies different ? both are Debian based
