Video Playlists Adding & Playing Back In Random Order

When I add the videos they add to the Playlist in a random order, then when I play back they do not follow that order and skip/repeat videos - final screen shows that shuffle is off.

So in this case I added videos 1 - 5 to a new Playlist called Test, they added in the order 1, 3, 4, 5 2 and then for playback starting on the first video the order was 1, 3, 5, 5 (repeat) 2 (4 was skipped altogether).

I have noticed this issue for close to a year now, hoping that bringing some attention to it helps troubleshoot.

Running VLC for iOS 3.4.9 (550) on iOS 15.7.8 iPad mini 4.

P.S. - Love this app (been using VLC since 2005), thanks to all who have worked on it and thanks to those having a look at this thread.

I have the same weird issue when adding local mp3 files. They show up in random order.
When i want to listen to a podcast split up in 20 mp3 files it's a nigtmare and I can't use VLC for listening this, which is a pity, since the player would be so awesome otherwise!!
I really hope soemone will adress this issue whcih exists for many many years obviously.
