I use my Android phone for BT connection to devices for audio file play.
I also use a BT plantronics headet for business calls.
Recently whenever I put headset on VLC starts automatically playing the last audio file, also autostarts play when I get in the car.
In apps there is no open app sop can't stop it from playing.
On the notification screen (drag down from top) is shows a mini player screen (see pic)
No option to quit - you can press pause, but moving to any screen on the phone starts playing audio over BT again.
This is very annoying - how do I stop VLC from autoplay
