Audio filter problem

Postby Rogue » 26 Jul 2023 18:12

Hi there.
I've notice that there is a sort of filter working on VLC, and it filters this audio in particular: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buvyTVBjUYk And any other word considered offensive. I can to hear this same audio with other media player without problem, but I can't with VLC because of the filter, it just don't have audio sounds, and of course I use VLC everyday and I can hear everything but not offensive words. By the way, I've downloaded this video in my PC.

Any way to remove this filter?

Thanks.

VLC does not enable any audio filter by default, but if you've added one, you can remove it from the preferences (or reset the preferences). In any case, VLC does not have any speech recognition capability that would be required to filter certain specific words.
