Can’t delete video files

Running latest VLC version and iPad OS 16.5
I have over 50 video files on VLC and can’t delete certain ones.
I tried
1. Via VLC natively. It “deletes” then reopening VLC it appears again.
2. Via Files App. Hit delete and a pop up appears “couldn’t be moved because you don’t have permission to access .Trash.”
3. Via iTunes. I choose delete and nothing happens.

Any insight on what to do? Very frustrating as it seems random and old files take up space.

Just wondering if I’m the only one experiencing this issue?
VLC is not able to delete my media files. Running on latest iOS and VLC versions.

I have the same experience. I delete but when I go back to to the list, the vieo is still there.

Can this be fixed or have a way to delete files directly from within VLC?
