Opensubtitles on Apple TV (tvOS)

Postby dariobuttari » 08 Jun 2023 18:33

Does anybody know how to enter the Opensubtitles username/password info in VLC for Apple TV (tvOS)?
I am asking because I just learned that "recently" Opensubtitles changed policy, and they now tend to block un-authenticated requests. Creating an Opensubtitles account, and entering username/password in each app seems to fix that problem.
I was able to fix my Opensubtitles problems in VLC for MacOs by creating an account, and entering username/password under VLC media player/Extensions/VLSub 0.11.1/Show config, but I cannot figure out how to enter the username/password in VLC for Apple TV (tvOS). I am on version 3.4.5 (522).
Thanks!

There is no way to enter your credentials at the moment. I'll add that later this summer. Note that the anonymous integration was fixed this morning.
