I have been waiting for several days for a reply to this and sadly still nothing almost three weeks since I noticed this issue maybe even longer. With VLC I have loads of video media that I am capable of streaming with an an external hard drive through an Apple tv via VLC i Al one that tends to put my shows in order so all I have to do I just hit play and kick back. Well in recent times VLC does not want to seem to want to play from beginning to end. It will play every file and I have to manually select the ones that were skipped. I have been waiting to see if there is some kind of update to fix this or if there is any update with any kind of info at all cause after several years of using VLC. This is really beginning if to put me off of it. Multiple weeks and no kind of response yet!?

Hello All,

I have in recent times noticed what is an irritating little issue while playing videos from SMB with VLC. As an example. I have multiple different series of shows on my SMB. if i go to watch them lets say 1-10. instead it will play 1,3,5,7,10. in other words. it skips every other video. even though i have play next turned on it still skips the directly next video. any suggestions would be appreciated. or is this another VLC at fault kind of thing?
The same issue here for a few months, and still no solution! :(

I guess this is an ongoing non fixing thing? So sad 😞

Hello,

We noticed a similar issue affecting all kinds of playback, that was recently fixed.
I am unable to reproduce the issue and the patch will be part of the next release.

Once the release is out, let us know if you notice this behavior again by opening a thread dedicated to it, so we can investigate further this issue.

Thank you for your feedback!

Is there any plan to release new version after 3.3.12?
I reported bug (battery draining) and it has been fixed, but the fix hasn't been released.

Hello,

Indeed, the next version will be the 3.4.0 but there is no specific date for it yet.

We just released a new TestFlight version in order to collect some feedback around the new additions and we are expecting to be able to release to the AppStore very soon!

We just released a new TestFlight ...
Can I somehow join the beta program? I have reported a bug 5 months ago, and I would like to check the fix.

So, the battery draining problem is not solved with 3.4.0
