VR?

I read that VLC 4.0 supported VR so I downloaded the nightly build, added it to my oculus rift's apps, and tried launching it from inside the oculus software. It didn't load so I'm curious if I'm doing this wrong or if it isnt supported in the nightly build yet.

I'm not sure you can watch in VR headset with VLC. Try DeoVR player

Hi,

We made technical demos with VR HMD support but it's not merged yet.

So its 2022. I install vlc 4.0 nightly, put on my rift s and all works?

LOL ... now its 2023. :)
Is there now any vlc version available which i can install on my vr machine and run it with my rift s, to watch vr 180°-360°.mkv videos?
