VLC Skin Editor glitching out

I always get this when I attempt to make any progress towards making a skin, what's going on here? Has anyone else had this problem?

Not sure what this means, you mean I have to put in a a png file into the program? Not sure how to do that since I can't do anything without it falling apart.

Yes, I was mentioned, you had to put an image instead. Sorry, but skin editor is so old nowdays, and dont have appropriate support.

Tried opening up other skins and loading the images and it didn't work.

if you want, click on tools>plugins and extensions, and download the good-old skins, that is provided, if you didnt had them in the past. I really liked the old skins though.
