Remote Playback Apple tv 2022

Hello,
every time I start a movie, it starts from the beginning, not from where I left off, if the movie has not been watched and I can't rewind to the position where I stopped it, it is not possible to fast forward to the previous stage of the movie from the remote, but from the computer I can I move the position in which I want to watch the movie. This is quite unpleasant and I can't find a solution, could someone help with information?
