Independence of threads in the mosaic...

Postby skuwakin » 28 Jan 2023 18:36

Good time of day. There is a mosaic of two streams, (picture in picture), which are superimposed on a black background. And this mosaic is broadcast on the network. Everything works fine. But... When one of the streams disappears, the mosaic stops being broadcast. I have always believed that the flows in the mosaic are independent... The most interesting thing is that if the same mosaic is displayed, then when one of the threads disappears, nothing hangs... Is it somehow treated or is it a feature of the implementation when broadcasting the mosaic to the network?

P.S. VLC 3.0.XX

Something has become clear ... the strangeness described in the first post appears only when the video is used as a background. Against the background of the jpg image , everything works out correctly . It's just that the processor is loaded less on the videophone.
