Donation for extended Equalizer?

Hello everybody, I hope this post is appropriate.

Does someone like to code an extended equalizer for vlc (free and open source of course) and get paid/donated for it?
The equalizer should provide
* settings for left and right channel
* additional frequency ranges below 32Hz (e.g. 25, 20, 15, 10),
* low-pass and high-pass filters
No special GUI needed, number/text form is ok, i need ear-candy, not eye-candy.

What would be a first approximation of costs (prototype)?
Sorry, if this is the wrong place, but I really really would like to have an equalizer for deeep bass in vlc , )

Im gonna love the idea, too ! The curent EQ isnt that enough powered, doesnt have low frequency and high frequencey pass, and pre-amp isnt taht good. For me is ok to dev team release extra EQ for the program.

I am pretty sure, that they won't improve the equalizer, because they are satisfied. If you know somebody, who wants to earn some bucks coding open-source - please send them the link to this post.
