I Created A Complete Genre ICECAST DIRECTORY To Use With VLC (Need Assistence)

I know nobody ask me to do this but I believe I started something that could benefit VLC mobile and PC App as far as the whole ICECAST DIRECTORY goes let me explain below

I technically got the PC VERSION COMPLETE but even by extracting these files one by one and putting them into XSPF or PLS format then separating them from these directory files does not work, I need a way to access more ICECAST radio stations with my Galaxy S7 Device but I can't because even though VLC for PC seems to read the following files I have for you in a ZIP BELOW the mobile versions of VLC currently do not read XSPF files

yet the .PLS file for connecting to my own stream works just fine on mobile and PC

THE WORK I DID I HOPE WILL NOT GO IN VAIN, I DID THIS FOR VLC

IT TOOK MY 12 HOURS ONLY TO FIND OUT NO MATTER WHAT I DID, IT DIDN'T WORK ON MOBILE,

I AM NOT AN ADVANCED PROGRAMER SO.

if nobody is too too busy now that the holidays are over. I'm wondering if someone could help me finish my project, I'm hoping someone can download this file, below, Analize what's in those XSPF files and somehow force the mobile app to read them

I Summed Up A Sizable Custom Directory Of. (what could have the potential to be) Mobile ICECAST radio stations. That I got off Clementine PC app the ICECAST directory.

I have the file in ZIP format ready to upload if I can for analysis, it contains files that I submitted a Playlist for a whole bunch it took me about 12 hours to do. However the files consist of every single ICECAST radio station that is listed inside of Clementine. THIS CONTAINS NO FOLDER OR FILE Directory ASSOIATED WITH CLEMENTINE AS FAR AS I KNOW.

All files are XSPF Directory link, and website link and Playlist Files combined into one file. PC will read 100% of the files but VLC on Mobile currently cannot read the files. "I think it's the format"

but I need some help to help you finish this mobile project.


Most of the SORTINGS ARE BY MUSIC GENRE

As expected some stations will not connect in some parts of the world but most of them will, I got everything to work for PC, Problem?

When I Upload the VLC playlist directly to my Galaxy X7 VLC for mobile recognizes my own ICECAST Radio broadcast now in the same format as the rest of them but even after changing the file extension for XSPF into PLS. BOTH of these files extensions cannot read any of THESE FILES on mobile.

This mod is tested and proved to work, you bascially open the XSPF files with VLC on windows or other OS's then pick an ICECAST station based on when GENRE the file is called "60's for example has radio stations that broadcast music made in the 1960's for example, you can also click SHUFFLE if you want your computer to select a ramdom station.

ALL DIRECTORYS LOAD FAST ON MY END AND THEY ARE SMALLER THEN THE MAIN ICECAST FULL DIRECTORY BECAUSE

THIS MOD IS A FOLDER, WITH PLAYLIST FILES. VLC TREATS THESE FILES AS ANY OTHER SONG OR VIDEO PLAYLIST,
only it don't shift stations unless you change it yourselves

this was fun PC VERSION IS COMPLETE ENJOY GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Open Galaxy S7 File Explorer tool the app with the yellow folder icon

1: OPEN downlaod folder

2: push Vlc Radio Stations For Mobile Devices Folder

3: push it again

4: press : 3 dots up on right hand corver of device screen

5: scroll down with your finger and push and select all M3U files

6 Press move buttion towards bottom of screen

7: press move here text buttion

8 go back

9: Select Music folder

10: Copy here

11: clost file explorer app and then open VLC

12 OPEN MUSIC FOLDER WITH VLC

13: YOUR DONE JUST SELCET A PLAYLIST and hopefully it will let you shuffle it

NOTE TO ADMIN: has anyone tried this mod themselves yet? I don't know about you but my device and my copy is still working. I put up the links so people that I am conneting to this forum from Facebook can get the apps easy without having to search the whole internet I hope nobody minds the VLC download links in this thread. Again I did it for the offsite traffic I am leading off of Facebook.
