Separate windows for video and playlist management

Postby stalker168 » 13 Dec 2022 09:19

Hello. I need to set up VLC so that the video is displayed on the second monitor in full screen mode, and on the first monitor there is a window with a playlist and controls. At the same time, keeping the windows open after playback is completed. Operating system - Windows 10.
I can't get the video to display in a separate window in order to display it on the second monitor.

There is a check box for that in the simple preferences.

I searched the Internet for options for settings and tried them myself, I could not achieve the desired result. VLC does not create a separate video window, leaving the playlist and fusing controls in the first window. It goes entirely to the second monitor. And I don't need this.
