Hello, if I could remind you about the problem with subtitles in new VLC versions I first described here https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?t=160389
So briefly: Sony Android TV, Universal Media Server on PC. VLC on Android TV sees videofiles with built-in soft subtitles (mkv mostly) as corrupt: doesn't show any subtitles track at all to choose from, the list of tracks is empty, plays files with big effort and doesn't show the length of the video, the time stamp is 0.00 at the end. Only lets play and pause, no fast-forward or rewind, no change of speed - basically I can't manage the playback at all, no option except pause. Videos with only video and audio tracks play normally.
I tried version 3.5.3, the issue remains. The last working version for me is 3.4.4, so I returned to it.
