Decreased max volume at v3.3.8 and 3.3.9 for iOS

Postby Ruthenium » 07 Oct 2022 02:21

I have enjoyed using VLC for some time on my iPhone XR. I now have iOS 16 and the recent VLC updates. The volume is decreased dramatically from the 3.3.7 version. Is there a way to roll back to that version until this problem is hopefully corrected in a future release?

No, but we will add an option to allow users to define a default pre-amp level.

Why is the original sound louder? Your explanation is that the volume increase is now turned off by default. I am curious why it is suddenly turned off by default on the new version. Is it a feature conflict?
thanks
