VLC and HDR

I was wondering when this function will be available on MacOS Ventura.
I have a MacbookPro 14 with an HDR screen and watching a film on it is just impossible. It’s way too dark and the colors are not accurate.
I don’t know if it’s tone mapping or if my set ups are wrong.
I tried to watch the same film on a 4K TV non HDR via an HDMI cable from the Mac, but it still not working properly.
Don’t know what to do…
The file codec is HEVC 2160p HDR-10.
