Suddenly can't Open Network Stream

Two days ago this was working fine. Today it is not.

I access a Youtube video in Chrome, Copy the URL. Open VLC. Choose Open Network Stream from the file menu. Paste the Youtube URL and VLC starts playing the video.

Today I tried that same process and after pasting the Youtube URL, nothing happens.

Hope someone can help.

Oops, Thought I should add, I am running the most current MAC OS (Monterey 12.5), and made sure I have the latest VLC. I even restarted my computer and reinstalled VLC

I have been developing a MacOS app that uses VLCKit and found that running on a Silicon Mac (M1 MBPro, Monterey) I can no longer open a multicast stream, UDP. Still runs fine on Intel Mac running same OS.

To test, I tried opening the same stream in the VLC app and get the same result. Does not open on Silicon, works on Intel.

Digging a little deeper - I've found that the issue seems to be connected to the OS point upgrade?

Tested VLC application on Intel Mac, Monterey 12.2 - stream opens fine

Intel Mac, Monterey 12.5.1 - stream does not load

Sorry aliquot...your in way over my head. Can't help you with what you seem to be having an issue with.
